Habitat for Humanity: Habitat for Humanity partners with qualified low and very-low income families providing them an opportunity to purchase their own home. Homes are built by volunteers and sold at cost, with a 0% interest loan. Potential homeowners invest 500 sweat equity hours that count as the down payment for their new home. Our congregation helps this wonderful Organization through contributions.

Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse: The CP Center works to prevent child abuse and to help both parents and children improve the quality of family life through a wide-variety of services including counseling, parenting education, crisis management and case management. Our congregation helps this wonderful Organization through contributions.

Boys & Girls Club: The Boys and Girls Club works to build self-esteem, develops values and skills to enable youth to become well-balanced productive individuals in today’s society. The positive place for kids. Our congregation helps this wonderful Organization through contributions.

Relay for Life – American Cancer Society: Relay for Life an event held each year by the American Cancer Society to raise money for Cancer Research. Every year our church supports Relay for life. This year our Youth Group had a PYC Relay Team.” They held a Rock-A-Thon at Sonic to raise money for Relay. The Rock-A-Thon was a big Success!

Pinecrest Camp: Our church has several Work & Fellowship Days planed each year to help with the grounds and facilities of Pinecrest. Pinecrest was built in the 1960’s and is a beautiful Center with an Amazing Chapel. The Center and grounds are owned by the Presbytery of the Mid-South. It is located 45 mins from Memphis, TN.

Dart: Dart stands for Disaster Assistance Response Team of the Midsouth Presbytery. They are a group of volunteers from the Presbytery that go out and help with Disater Relief. Our church helps in these effects.

Gideons International: The Gideons International is an association of Christian business and professional men who are dedicated to saving the lost people of the world through personal witnessing and distribution of bibles. They have distributed bibles to more than 180 countries all around the world. Our congregation contributes to the efforts through special offerings.

Teen Advisors: Two of our members, Nick and Peggy Korn, help with the Teen Advisor program in our area. They have been Members of TA’s since 1995. TA’s are a group of high school students make a commitment to be drug free, smoke free, and set a good moral example for a period of one year. The program has about 120 TA’s each year. The goal of TA is that each teen involved in the program hears and has the opportunity to receive and know Christ. TA’s give and encourage other younger students hoping to make their lives, our schools, and our community a better place. Our congregation makes contributions each year to the TA’s general funds.
