Wycliffe Bible Translators: Currently Wycliffe’s efforts serve languages spoken in more than 90 countries and more than 700 translations have been completed. Wycliffe’s vision is to see the Bible accessible to all people in the language they understand best. The people of the world are searching for Truth, Love, Forgiveness, Purpose and Peace. They are searching for life that can only be found in Jesus but some communities have never heard about Jesus at all. They have absolutely no access to God’s word and Bible translation for them can mean the difference between eternity with God and eternity without Him. Our congregation helps this wonderful Organization through contributions.

The Outreach Foundation (Franklin, TN): The Outreach Foundation is a validated missions support group of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and serves God’s mission in the world by helping to connect Presbyterians to the work of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ for the salvation of humankind. They do their work with the Lord’s guidance and through the prayers and financial support of dedicated individuals and congregations across the nation. Our congregation helps this mission through contributions to their General Fund as well as designated contributions to the ministries of Todd Luke in Xpujil, Mexico.

Todd Luke (Campeche, Mexico): Since 1996, Todd Luke has lived and worked in the southern portion of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, in a rural area known as Calakmul. Todd’s ministry has two components. One part involves developing projects that teach and enable Mexican Presbyterians to improve their own family health. Projects with this purpose include the construction of family owned rainwater cisterns, beekeeping, beeswax pressing, hammock weaving, raising poultry and rabbits, and more recently the making of simple jewelry and goat husbandry to provide needed income to supplement their standard of living. The other component of Todd’s ministry involves equipping local Presbyterian leaders with the intellectual, spiritual and material resources necessary to plant new churches and develop existing churches.

Yucatan Mission: Almost every year a group from our church visits the Yucatan Mission on a Mexico Mission Trip. The Ladies hold a sewing class for the women of the church at Castilla Brito, Mexico. During the class actives are held for the children. Bible school classes are also held for the children. They love to sing, color, and play games. Our Church has also helped with a sheep raising project and in the building of Cisterns.
